St. Elizabeth /
St. Robert Regional School
Why Our Parish Has a
School The Catholic school is above all else an
activity that shares in the evangelizing mission of the Church given to us by
Jesus; it is part of the local Church of our country, and shares in the life
and work of our local parish community. The purpose of the school is to assist
our students in the harmonious development of the physical, emotional, moral,
spiritual, and intellectual gifts in light of Gospel values. Teaching
methods used in the school are to respect the particular circumstance and needs
of the individual students and their families, and be consistent with the best
in cultural research. Families, teachers, students and the parish community
assume a common responsibility for carrying out this mission - with the family
being the primary educators. The ultimate goal of our school is to
help students to acquire gradually a more mature sense of responsibility and
faith based upon a sense of community, a knowledge of our Catholic beliefs,
service to the world, a life of prayer, rooted in solid moral formation.
